“Yeeewww! It’s Summer! The past couple months have been amazing up in Michigan. The weather has been exceptionally good so the Albe’s bus has been on a shred storm party mission. We got to start out this past month by tripping to Wisconsin for the notorious BACO Jam. It was nothing less than expected. Awesome riding, good vibes, water slides, and people jumping off balconies into a crowd of drunken awareness. Im very grateful to have had an opportunity to experience a BACO jam with such a great group of people. Shout out to Flip! Thanks!

We recently just took another Albe’s trip to Grand Haven, MI for the annual Bikes, Boards, and Beach series hosted by the AGA (Adrenaline Games Alliance). It’s an awesome little beach town on the coast of Lake Michigan with a rad BMX scene. There is also a really fun skatepark pedaling distance from the beach with my favorite bowl in Michigan. Ron Thomas, owner of Rise Above BMX, partners with the AGA and brought all of his portable show ramps to hold the skate and BMX contests. The ramps were setup on main street right downtown so it brought a large crowd of spectators who seemed stoked on what was going on. It’s funny, I actually overheard a few older men talking and their minds were blown away by the riding of everyone. Its pretty cool to be able to represent BMX in a postive way to the public and inspire kids to hopefully join the radness BMX can offer.” -Nick Bullen
