A fresh order of Pandora Bars just came in, so I thought I’d fill ya in on all the features packed into these bars. These bars are run by the entire Subrosa pro team, and the Skeleton Crew, and they hold up to all the abuse from riding and bike throwing that the dudes dish out, and have an awesome warranty to back it up. Check out all the details and some special features that aren’t offered with most bars out today..
^ One thing Subrosa started out doing on our first pair of bars was these “Eazy-Cut Guides”. These machined grooves are on both ends of the Pandora Bars and they assist you in cutting your bars down. No more crooked cuts, or uneven ends. It assures that you cut the exact same amount of both ends, well as long as you can count. They come in an 2 inches on both sides, and are in 1/4 inch increments. You see these on a few companies bars now, but we were the first.
^ Bars come in a lot of colors these days. Pandora Bars come in Matte Black, Matte White, Mate Blue, Matte Army Green, Black/ Blood Splatter, White/ Blood Splatter, and Blue/ Black Splatter. That’s a lot of paint. Other than making bars look awesome, the paint can fill in the knurling that helps to stop your bars from slipping. What we did was have our factories simply paint around the knurling. This way your stem will have a perfect area to clamp cleanly and securely to your bars. You also can’t see the area that isn’t paint, because it’s under your stem. Anyway, it’s always function over fashion.
^ Some companies will go with a small diameter crossbar to save weight. We decided this wasn’t for us. We kept our crossbar a bigger size so it could have maximum contact and the largest possible welding surface for a secure and strong connection. Big welds and good surface area to weld to is key for a strong handle bar. Well there you have it. Go pick up a fresh pair of Pandora Bars from you local shop or mail order. Here’s all the spec.
