Zine FPF: Five Photo Friday

It’s Friday and I couldn’t be happier. Not because we have the next 10 days off, it’s because it’s Five Photo Friday! Last weeks FPF from Tristen Afre will be hard to compete with, but I’ll give it a shot. We’ve got some oldies again from awesome photographers like Ryan Fudger, Nuno Oliveira, Jared Souney and more. Take a look below…

^ This was was an old one shot by Jared Souney. We hit up U of O for the day and came back with some good shots. I’m not sure if we ended up using this one for anything specific, but I was pretty psyched on this up-rail ride/ wall ride thingy. Portland, Oregon circa 2004

^ One of the best bike riders in the world, Travis Gardner shot this back behind the Vancouver Wa Skatepark. I just really was looking for an excuse to rip some rubber of my tires and he had his disposable camera with him. That’s about it. Vancouver, Wa circa 2002

^ This migh’ve been for an ad or web feature I can’t remember. We needed a portrait of Rich and Nuno came through with this one. I don’t know why, but I loved it. Los Angeles, Ca circa 2003

^ Another gem from the lens of Ryan Fudger. Still one of my favorite riders Eli Platt, cruising through a line that no one would see. This was shot on a Shadow Conspiracy trip. Albuquerque, NM circa 2008

^ This could’ve been a Ryan Fudger edition of FPF. Here’s one we used for a Subrosa print ad. Take one sketchy quarter built by a hand ful of SD locals and add in one of Hoang’s inverts. Just a guess but I bet it was 69 degrees out. San Diego, Ca circa 2009
