Check out Erik Engstrom’s Subrosa Balum V2 buld up! Erik is our west coast sales rep, so some of you may already know him. Pretty rad to have another shredder working for our brand. It’s pretty cool to have riders in front, and behind the scenes, and it’s big part of Subrosa. Erik is a part of a pretty awesome (low-key) trail scene right in L.A. Not many people can pull off a spot like theirs right in the city, but a little hard work goes a long way.
Check below and watch an edit of Erik and his homies ripping there local spot, and see more pics of his bike, and parts list.

“I take all off the pins out of one side of my right pedal for pedal grinds. I cut my bars down just a tad, and I always cut off my flanges. I’ve been brakeless forever, but I’ve been having fun with these Sano brakes for a few weeks now. It’s great being able to haul ass around town and send it a little harder at the trails, knowing that I can just grab the brake and throw the back end out sideways to stop without slamming my heels in the ground.
