The Utah BMX scene has always been one of my favorites, and 5050bmx has been supporting it for a long time now, so I’m really psyched on this one! The Support Your Local Shop Tour continues and rolls through 5050bmx on May 26th! Head on over there to meet and ride with Subrosa pro riders Hoang Tran, Kyle Hart, and Lahsaan Kobza. There will be a rails, ledges, and a BBQ. The dudes will be hooking you up with some free goodies from Subrosa as well!

The Chad Kerley Invitational went down this weekend and Subrosa was in full effect! Subrosa pro riders Hoang Tran, Lahsaan Kobza, and Simone Barraco all got the invite and put in work. Tricks like Hoang’s nose manual to turndown, and Lahsaan’s huge manual to 180 down the stairs, and the above ice to lookback 180! SImone went down in practice and hurt his back, but is good to go, just bruised and beat up. I’m sure we’ll have more footage and coverage to post up on here soon, but for now check out the Ride BMX site for these two photos and the first photos from the comp.

The homies over at The Shadow Conspiracy posted up a detailed bike check with good friend of Subrosa Johnny Devlin. His bike is packed with Subrosa goodies including a Balum V2 frame and Bitchin’ cranks. Hit the Shadow site for the full check.

The Albion has a new site, and it’s awesome! It’s got some cool behind the scenes articles on some of the interviews they’ve done. Subrosa pro Hoang Tran had an interview a few issues ago, so they posted up a cool article with a bunch of never before seen photos. ^ Lahsaan and Simone had an epic game of B.I.K.E. the other weekend. They both went in hard trying to beat the other. This was before the game started, to see who would go first. Watch for Vital to release the edit soon. It’ll be a good watch!

^ Here’s another spy shot of Simone’s signature “Noster” frame all built up. It’s still in the prototype stages, and there is a few cosmetic changes we are doing to the frame, but if you see Simone you can get a close up look at the frame. Mine got stolen the other weekend, and I miss it badly.

I love mexican food. The funny thing is I lived in San Diego for years and I didn’t like it as much as I do now. This is PR’s in Orlando, and it’s amazing. Also when a train goes by they have Tequilla shots for a dollar!
