Zine R.I.P. Dave Mirra

Today is a tough day for a lot of people in and outside of BMX. Dave Mirra was just that type of person. Dave changed what was possible on a bike and he did it with ease. Such an honor to have came up watching him. He also showed aspiring BMX riders that this could actually be a career choice. Not much else I can say, I am at a loss for words. I have some stories that remind of Dave and I will cherish those, small interactions, exchanges of hellos and how are yous. You taught a lot to BMX, and I only hope that this can be one more lesson to someone, anyone, struggling in the world. We may never know what Dave was going through, but if you need help, never be ashamed to ask. There’s people who would do anything to help. Everyone needs the help of others at some point, it’s nothing to be ashamed of, scared of, or too proud to do. National Suicide Prevention Lifeline 1-800-273-TALK. R.I.P. Dave...
