While we were out melting today in Austin, Tom Smith took us to this little set up right by our hotel. Tom dropped some hammers on it, and Hoang ripped this invert and then bar’d into the street. I’ve been messing with my Go-Pro and this is one of the photos from today with it. We’re also going to help Eben set up the Subrosa obstacle for the Texas Toast Jam tonight. Psyched on that!
Eben Krackau and his boys have been hard at work building this amazing 9ft tall Subrosa Grind Shield! It’ll have two 4ft transitioned wedge ramps on either side of the shield. The top is about 1ft wide, and has angle iron on both sides. This thing is going to be amazing to ride! Myself, Greg Smee, Hoang tran, and Kyle Hart will be out there all weekend, so come out and ride this thing with us! We’ll be filming an edit of all the people that ride this thing, and we’ll be having a best trick contest from the web edit on our Facebook Page. We’ll load up the video, and other riders will be able to vote on the best trick. Winner will receive a ton of goods from us! Going to be too fun! Here’s a small sneak peek of our not so small Subrosa obstacle for the Texas Toast Jam. If you’re not going, you are blowin’ it!
Step 1- Buy your favorite beverage that comes in a glass bottle.
Step 2- Drink said beverage.
Step 3- Put on safety goggles.
Step 4- Break all of the bottles.
Step 5- Lay the broken glass in the design you want on white paper.
Step 6- Clean the cuts on your hands with soap and warm water.
Step 7- Take high res photo of your design.
Step 8- Send Illustrator art to printer.
Step 9- Wear the shirt
Step 10- Post about it on your website.
